Katherine Grainger, Olympic Gold medallist in the women’s double sculls in 2012, and silver medalist in three Olympics before that, (not to mention her six world championship titles) has just published her autobiography, Dreams Do Come True.
In a rare public appearance to promote the book, she will be visiting Woodbridge and all young or budding rowers should leap at (or scull towards) this opportunity to hear her speak about her rowing, her dedication and commitment, her achievements, and her disappointments.
The event is taking place at Woodbridge Community Hall on Friday 11 October at 6.30pm. Tickets are £6 each and are only available in advance from Browsers Bookshop by telephoning 01394 388890.
